Bernie finds Denny outside the flat pushing Paul's empty wheelchair. He claims he's just taking it for a service but she doesn't believe him and threatens to call the police.

Round at Joseph's, Liam looks around in the cupboard for sweets and when he finds Paul's stash of Benzo pills, he puts them in his pocket. Later, Gary is waylaid by a drunk Sarah at the Rovers, leaving Liam home alone. When he feels another panic attack coming on, he takes out the Benzo pills. Billy panics when he realises the pills are missing... as Liam lies unconscious at the flat.

Roy's gutted to hear that the police have been unable to trace Lauren's necklace or her mystery boyfriend. Meanwhile, Ken urges caution as Daniel arranges to meet Nicky again to try to get info on Lauren.

Bobby, Max, Bethany and Beth gather at the Precinct to watch the reconstruction of Lauren's last known movements, but Bethany's horrified to spot Nathan, her abuser, among the gathered crowd. Later, she confides in Daniel what she saw but he assures her that Nathan's locked up and it was just her mind playing tricks. Meanwhile, Nicky reveals that she is meeting a girl called Ellie, who was groomed as a teenager and may have info on Lauren.

Maria gets back home, where she finds Sarah and Gary looking slightly on edge. She discreetly places a secret camera on the side and then watches from her phone as Gary and Sarah hug.

Bethany pauses the police reconstruction video and zooms in, proving to Daniel that it was Nathan she saw after all. At the station, Swain confirms that Nathan was released several months ago - and a fuming Bethany tells her to bring him in for questioning about Lauren. Later, Bethany does some research and tracks Nathan down to a building site near the Precinct and, together with Daniel, heads to confront him.
