Susie Amy is to make a guest return to Hollyoaks as Luke's ex-wife Scarlett Morgan.

Susie Amy will reprise her role as Scarlett Morgan for a guest appearance on Hollyoaks, it has been confirmed.

The ex-wife of Luke (Gary Lucy) and mother of Ollie (Gabriel Clark) appeared in the village for a few months in early 2018, unsuccessfully trying to scupper Luke's wedding to Mandy (Sarah Jayne Dunn).

Now, several years later, Luke is battling the degenerative condition frontotemporal dementia, which is causing him to act irrationally and without remorse, as well as forget things - so how will he react when he comes face to face with Scarlett?

"I'm so happy to be bringing Scarlett back to Hollyoaks," said Amy. "I'm really looking forward to a brilliant new storyline, and seeing everyone."

Scarlett's return to the village will air later this year.
