Timothee Chalamet will host the penultimate edition of Saturday Night Live this year.

Call Me By Your Name star Timothee Chalamet will host the penultimate edition of Saturday Night Live this year.

The 24-year-old - a New York native - will front the December 12 edition of the show in his hosting debut, with Bruce Springsteen serving as the musical guest.

Comedian Chloe Fineman has previously impersonated the actor on SNL and is expected to reprise the role in a sketch alongside him.

Elsewhere, Jason Bateman will host the December 5 edition, with Kristen Wiig closing out the year on December 19.

The show airs in the UK on Sky Comedy on Sunday nights.
