Blind Date's legendary voiceover man Graham Skidmore dies at the age of 90.

Graham Skidmore, the iconic voiceover man for Blind Date, has died at the age of 90.

Known by long-time host Cilla Black as "Our Graham", Skidmore provided voiceover on the popular dating show through its '80s and '90s heyday.

Skidmore had been battling vascular dementia for 10 years and died on December 27 last year, but his family have only just announced his passing.

"He was a marvellous man. He looked after people and made sure other people were taken care of," said his daughter Catherine Johnson.

"He was very modest. He was not a theatrical 'look at me' person. He never really wanted his face to be seen - that's why he liked doing the voiceovers."

Skidmore is survived by his three children and five grandchildren.
