Nacho Monreal: 'Six teams can win Premier League'

Arsenal's Nacho Monreal claims that as many as six teams can win the Premier League title this term.

Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has claimed that as many as half-a-dozen teams can win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners can go top of the table with victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, and with just six points separating first from sixth, the Spanish left-back thinks that the title race is the most open in years.

"The league is really open now and four, five and even six teams can win the trophy," he told Sky Sports News.

"We're in a good position now and we're going to fight to win the league."

Arsenal host Manchester City on December 21.
