Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reveals that the Gunners are yet to offer him a new contract ahead of the new season.

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that the Gunners are yet to offer him a new deal amid persistent speculation regarding the striker's future.

The Gabon international is out of contract at the Emirates next summer, and while the Gunners are supposedly desperate to keep hold of their star man, fresh terms are yet to be agreed.

Now, Aubameyang has added fuel to the fire by claiming that Arsenal are yet to propose a new deal, but the 31-year-old then teased Arsenal fans by suggesting that good news may be coming soon.

Speaking on an Instagram Live alongside his brother, Aubameyang said: "Everyone is showing the pen & paper but I still don't have the papers bruv!"

The prolific forward then signed off with this encouraging message: "Have a good night, enjoy and hopefully great news for everybody."

Since arriving at the Emirates from Borussia Dortmund in 2018, Aubameyang has gone on to net 70 times in 109 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions.
