Tottenham Hotspur reportedly join PSG and the two Milan clubs in the race to sign in-demand Barcelona full-back Emerson, who is part-owned by Real Betis.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to do battle with Paris Saint-Germain for the signature of Barcelona defender Emerson.

The 22-year-old has spent the past two years at Real Betis and has become an integral member of their team - netting one goal and assisting four more in 26 La Liga appearances this term.

Emerson, who is partly owned by Betis, is due to return to Barcelona this summer, but he is supposedly one of several players that the cash-strapped Catalans could look to offload in a bid to raise funds for summer business.

PSG and Arsenal have both been linked with a swoop for Emerson, but according to Estadio Deportivo, Tottenham are also interested given the uncertainty surrounding both Serge Aurier and Matt Doherty.

The report adds that Betis do not have the financial resources to sign the defender permanently, and the player is in high demand too, with the two Milan clubs and Bayer Leverkusen supposedly eyeing a summer move for the Brazilian.

Emerson has not made a single appearance for Barcelona since he initially joined from Atletico Mineiro in 2019, but the Catalans have reportedly slapped a €25m (£21m) price tag on his head.
