Barcelona will reportedly let Memphis Depay and Hector Bellerin leave the club on free transfers this summer, while looking to extend the contracts of five other players.

Memphis Depay and Hector Bellerin will reportedly leave Barcelona on free transfers when their current contracts expire at the end of this season.

Both players have found first-team football limited so far this term, with Memphis making just two starts and four competitive appearances overall, while Bellerin has only featured five times.

As a result, there have been reports linking both players with a move away from Camp Nou this month, with Memphis in particular being tipped to return to the Premier League.

Spanish publication Sport claims that the Dutch international was put up for sale last summer and has been offered to a number of clubs including Newcastle United this month, but that he is unwilling to leave.

The report states that Memphis is happy to see out his contract at the Catalan outfit, before leaving on a free transfer when his deal officially expires on June 30.

Barca boss Xavi this week insisted that he wants the 28-year-old to stay at the club, and insisted that there will be more first-team opportunities for him in the coming months.

Bellerin, meanwhile, only signed a one-year deal when he rejoined his boyhood club last summer and has failed to leapfrog the likes of Sergi Roberto, Jules Kounde and Ronald Araujo in the pecking order under Xavi.

The former Arsenal full-back will therefore be allowed to leave at the end of this term, with Real Betis thought to be his most likely destination.

Memphis and Bellerin are two of seven Barcelona players out of contract in the summer, and the report claims that Sergi Roberto, Marcos Alonso, Inaki Pena and Arnau Tenas are all likely to extend their stays.

Sergio Busquets, meanwhile, is still considering his future, with Xavi keen to keep him and the option of a six-month deal thought to be on the table to postpone his expected switch to MLS.
