Jonathan Parr leaves Ipswich Town to make Norway return with Stromsgodset

Defender Jonathan Parr leaves Ipswich Town to move back to his homeland with Norwegian side Stromsgodset on a three-and-a-half year contract.

Full-back Jonathan Parr has left Ipswich Town to return to his homeland with Norwegian club Stromsgodset.

The 27-year-old, who was born in Oslo, has signed a three-and-a-half year deal.

"Jonathan is a class player who fits perfectly into our club and style of play," Stromsgodset manager Jostein Flo told the club website.

"He is good with both feet, very capable and is a player with a lot of energy who will delight the fans here."

Parr, whose Ipswich contract was up at the end of the season, made 43 appearances in a season-and-a-half with the Tractor Boys.
