Al-Ittihad will go in with another offer for Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, after having a £150m deal rejected already on deadline day, according to a report.

Al-Ittihad have reportedly said they will not give up on their pursuit of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.

The Saudi Pro League club have already had a bid of £100m - rising to £150m - rejected by Liverpool on deadline day.

Jurgen Klopp has remained adamant that Liverpool will not sell Salah, quickly shutting down talk that something could happen in the final hours of the window.

In his pre-match press conference earlier today, Klopp said: "The position remains the same, absolutely. No doubt about that. We cannot. That's how it is. Nothing else to say."

However, Sky Sports News claims that Al-Ittihad will go in with another offer for the Egyptian forward before the 11pm deadline.

The report states that the Saudi club are getting encouragement in 'certain quarters' that a deal can still be done.

Despite that, Al-Ittihad do not need to get a deal done today, given that the Saudi transfer window does not close until September 7.

By all accounts, Salah remains in the squad and will play for Liverpool in their clash with Aston Villa on Sunday, despite the ongoing speculation.
