Manu Garcia leaves Manchester City for Toulouse loan deal

Manchester City announce that they have allowed midfielder Manu Garcia to join Toulouse on a season-long loan deal.

Manchester City have revealed that Manu Garcia has moved to Toulouse on a 12-month loan deal.

Garcia made the switch to the Etihad Stadium in 2014 and made four first-team appearances during the 2015-16 campaign before the arrival of Pep Guardiola.

The midfielder has since spent loan spells at both Alaves and NAC Breda - with 38 games being played at the latter during the most recent campaign - and City have now moved to announce that the 20-year-old will continue his development away from the club.

Toulouse - who narrowly avoided relegation from Ligue 1 last season - have agreed a deal with City under which Garcia will play in France over the next year.

Garcia still has two years remaining on his contract at Premier League champions City.
