Football agent David Lee tells Sports Mole that "plenty of clubs" are still interested in signing Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

Football agent David Lee has told Sports Mole that there are "plenty of clubs" interested in signing Jack Grealish from Aston Villa this summer.

Grealish was widely expected to leave Villa Park during the current transfer window regardless of whether his boyhood club stayed in the division, having scored 10 goals and assisted eight more in 2019-20.

Manchester United have been most strongly linked with a move for the 24-year-old but are understood to have turned their attention to other targets due to Villa's asking price.

"There's plenty of clubs that like him. It's just Aston Villa, rightly so, are going to want big, big money for him. Then it's whether the clubs want to pay that fee for him I suppose," agent David Lee, who works for the Stellar Group which represents Grealish, told Sports Mole.

"My boss looks after him and I don't ask too much what's going on because that's down to him - I think the less people that know the better for him - but yeah, I love him as a player.

"I'd go and pay whatever Villa wanted for him personally, but as you say there are only a few clubs that have the money to go and buy him and then do those clubs need that position - that's the thing."

Grealish is currently away on international duty with England and could make his debut against Denmark on Tuesday night.
