Fiorentina are reportedly prepared to accept an amended loan proposal from Manchester United for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Manchester United reportedly plan to make an improved loan bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Despite the alleged interest in the Morocco international, a resolution is yet to be found for a player who is known to want to join a bigger club.

Liverpool have since moved to sign other targets, yet the indication has been that Amrabat's preference has always been to move to Old Trafford.

However, United's FFP issues have stalled any progress, with that leading to the Red Devils allegedly making a loan approach for the 27-year-old.

As expected, that proposal was rejected by Fiorentina officials, and there has been every indication that signing Amrabat on a temporary basis was highly unlikely.

Nevertheless, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A club are now prepared to allow Amrabat to move to United on loan, providing that their demands are met.

Romano says that United must commit to paying a higher loan fee and including a buy option, that expected to be an obligation over a voluntary choice.

Fulham had allegedly registered an interest in signing Amrabat in anticipation of Joao Palhinha potentially joining Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Amrabat is said to have no interest in making the switch to Craven Cottage, though, and it appears that United will now complete a loan transfer before Friday's 11pm (BST) deadline.

United started the day by confirming the addition of Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who will act as backup to first choice Andre Onana.
