Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea consider making moves for Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe in 2024, according to a report.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly keeping a close eye on Kylian Mbappe's situation at Paris Saint-Germain with a view to potentially signing him next summer.

The France international, as it stands, is expected to leave PSG on a free transfer next June, with the forward revealing that he will not be triggering the extension in his current deal.

Real Madrid have long been linked with the forward, but there have recently been claims that the Spanish giants have now dropped their interest.

Los Blancos had been expected to sign him on a free transfer in the summer of 2022, but he ultimately penned a new deal in Paris.

Real Madrid recently released a statement on the speculation surrounding Mbappe, with the club branding claims that they are in negotiations with the forward "completely false".

"Given the information recently issued and published by different media outlets, in which there is speculation about alleged negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappe and our club, Real Madrid CF would like to state that this information is completely false and that no such negotiations have taken place with a player who belongs to PSG," a statement read.

According to FourFourTwo, Mbappe could now be set for a move to the Premier League, with Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea all keen on his signature.

The report claims that Newcastle United are also keeping an eye on the situation, with the Magpies now able to compete for the best players in world football due to their recent takeover.

Should Mbappe leave PSG on a free transfer, he is likely to demand astronomical wages and a substantial signing-on fee, but that is unlikely to put off Premier League clubs.

Despite the recent speculation, Real Madrid could still sign Mbappe next year, with Los Blancos thought to be the attacker's number one choice when it comes to his next club.

The 24-year-old has again been in excellent form for PSG during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 12 goals and registering one assist in 14 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, the forward has 224 goals and 99 assists in 274 appearances for the club in total since arriving from Monaco, initially on loan.

As it stands, Premier League clubs would be able to agree a pre-contract with Mbappe in January, although he could decide to delay a decision on his future until later in the season.

Former France international Samir Nasri recently advised Mbappe to turn down the chance to move to Real Madrid in order to remain at PSG.
