Manchester United are reportedly contemplating whether to hand another opportunity to Alexis Sanchez, who has spent the campaign on loan at Inter Milan.

Manchester United are reportedly considering whether to keep Alexis Sanchez at Old Trafford next season.

After a hugely disappointing 17 months, Sanchez has been allowed to spend the campaign on loan at Inter Milan, where he has largely been used off the substitutes' bench.

According to the Daily Star, the Italian giants and Sanchez are open to continuing their partnership into a second year, providing that United pay a large contribution of the attacker's wages.

However, as it stands, that appears unlikely, with United said to giving thought to handing the Chile international another chance to make an impact in the Premier League.

Before moving to Italy, the 31-year-old contributed just three goals from 21 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League for United.

Sanchez has just over two years left on his contract at the North-West side.
