Rumoured Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United target Timo Werner's £49m RB Leipzig release clause reportedly expires on June 15.

A trio of Premier League clubs interested in signing Timo Werner reportedly have just 12 more days to trigger his RB Leipzig release clause.

The 24-year-old is believed to be a target for Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United after another incredible Bundesliga campaign.

Werner has scored 25 goals and set up seven more in the German top flight this term, giving him a higher combined goals involvement than any other player in the division.

Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann admitted earlier this week that his side can do little to stop the striker leaving should his release clause - believed to be £49m - be triggered.

According to Sky Sports News, however, that stipulation expires on June 15, meaning that teams are running out of time to snap him up for a cut-price fee.

Germany international Werner, who agreed fresh terms with Leipzig last year on a deal that runs through until 2023, is also a rumoured target for domestic rivals Bayern Munich.
