Rivaldo: 'Neymar will end up at Real Madrid'

Barcelona and Brazil legend Rivaldo believes that compatriot Neymar will end up at Real Madrid at some stage of his career.

Brazil and Barcelona legend Rivaldo has claimed that Neymar will end up playing for Real Madrid at some point in the future.

Neymar was linked with a blockbuster move to the Bernabeu on numerous occasions last season, despite only joining Paris Saint-Germain in a world-record deal from Barcelona a year ago.

The 26-year-old has since ruled out the possibility of leaving the Parc des Princes this summer, but his compatriot Rivaldo believes that it is inevitable he will end up in the Spanish capital.

"At the moment Neymar will stay at PSG, but from the comments I've heard I believe that, sooner or later, he'll end up playing for Real Madrid," Rivaldo told reporters.

"It's evident that Ney will stay in France for another year. Although the transfer market is so crazy nowadays you never know what might happen."

Neymar scored 28 goals in just 30 appearances for PSG before seeing his campaign ended prematurely by injury.
