Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly offered the chance to re-sign Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen, who has failed to impress at San Siro.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been offered the chance to re-sign Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen either on loan or permanently.

The Denmark international has struggled to make an impact at San Siro since arriving from Spurs in the January transfer window, starting just three Serie A games this term and still waiting for a goal contribution.

As a result, Inter are reportedly prepared to allow Eriksen to depart as they look to balance the books, with Nerazzuri manager Antonio Conte believed to be unhappy with the playmaker's performances.

According to Football Insider, Inter are willing to sanction a January exit for Eriksen and Spurs are one of a number of Premier League sides who have been offered the chance to sign him by intermediaries.

Eriksen is under contract at San Siro until 2024, but the Italian giants would supposedly be happy to let him leave on a permanent basis for a fee of £18m, with several Serie A sides also believed to be in the race for the 28-year-old's signature.

Eriksen has turned out 33 times for Inter since his arrival, notching up four goals in all competitions.
