Half-Time Report: Bristol City two up at the break

Goals from Jonathan Kodjia and Aden Flint give Bristol City a 2-0 lead at half time against Huddersfield Town.

Goals from Jonathan Kodjia and Aden Flint have given Bristol City a 2-0 lead at half time against Huddersfield Town this afternoon.

Kodjia got his ninth goal of the campaign on seven minutes when he headed home Marlon Pack's free kick.

Huddersfield were afforded a great chance to even things up shortly after when Nakhi Wells was fouled inside the area as he latched on to Joe Lolley's pass.

However, Emyr Huws could only see his spot kick saved by Frank Fielding, before Flint denied the Welshman with the follow-up.

Aaron Wilbraham was afforded too much space on the edge of the box just before the half-hour mark but the ex-Crystal Palace man's effort was saved by Jed Steer.

Flint was left unmarked from a free kick on 29 minutes and the defender made no mistake as he converted from close range to double the visitors' lead.
