Everton confirm the signing of Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Everton have confirmed the signing of Anwar El Ghazi from Aston Villa on a loan deal.

The transfer will see the winger join the club until the end of this season, with the 26-year-old being the third signing of this window for the Toffees.

Rafael Benitez has already brought in Vitalii Mykolenko and Nathan Patterson, with El Ghazi now joining the squad, while Lucas Digne has recently gone the other way.

The Dutch international originally joined Aston Villa on a loan deal in August 2018, and the club then turned that into a permanent contract at the end of that campaign.

El Ghazi has featured nine times in the Premier League this season for the Claret and Blue, scoring once, while he has also registered two performances and goals in the EFL Cup.

The winger will be wearing the number 34 shirt for the Toffees, and he has the possibility of making his debut this Saturday when the club faces Norwich City.
