Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Liverpool could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will welcome several of his first-team regulars back to the starting lineup for Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

The Reds are set to make do without Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez, Harvey Elliott and Roberto Firmino once more, while Naby Keita remains doubtful with his thigh problem.

Ibrahima Konate received mixed reviews for his performance in Wednesday's Champions League win over Porto and is set to make way for Virgil van Dijk, with Joel Matip expected to be fit enough to start once more.

Neco Williams and Kostas Tsimikas prepare to drop out for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, in spite of calls for the Greek defender to be given more opportunities in the Premier League.

Tyler Morton was handed his first European start for Liverpool in midweek and played the full 90 minutes of the success over Porto, but Fabinho will take his rightful place in the engine room this week.

Thiago Alcantara may be fit enough to hold his place after scoring a sublime effort in that win, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be demoted to the bench as Jordan Henderson returns.

Diogo Jota shook off an injury scare to make the bench in midweek, and the Portuguese attacker is now set to displace Takumi Minamino to lead the line with support from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago; Salah, Jota, Mane
