Ki Sung-yeung returns from injury as Swansea City visit Newcastle United this afternoon.

Ki Sung-yeung returns from injury as Swansea City visit Newcastle United this afternoon.

The South Korean's inclusion is one of three changes from the Welsh side's last league outing - a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur - as Kyle Bartley and Oliver McBurnie also come into the XI.

Renato Sanches and Angel Rangel are not fit enough to make the squad, while Federico Fernandez drops to the bench.

Rafael Benitez makes two changes to his last Premier League lineup that beat Stoke City on New Year's Day.

Paul Dummett and Dwight Gayle are promoted from the bench, while Javier Manquillo and Jacob Murphy drop down. Rob Elliot, back following a thigh injury, starts among the replacements.

Newcastle United: Darlow; Yedlin, Clark, Lascelles, Dummett; Shelvey, Diame; Ritchie, Perez, Atsu; Gayle
Subs: Elliot, Murphy, Hayden, Manquillo, Joselu, Merino, Haidara

Swansea City: Fabianski; Bartley, Van der Hoorn, Mawson; Olsson, Carroll, Clucas, Ki, Dyer; Ayew, McBurnie
