Watford, Nottingham Forest ends all square

Watford and Nottingham Forest play out a lively 2-2 draw in tonight's Championship clash at Vicarage Road.

Watford and Nottingham Forest have cancelled each other out thanks to a 2-2 draw in tonight's Championship clash at Vicarage Road, Michail Antonio's brace helping the visitors to a point.

The hosts were quickest off the starting blocks, Fernando Forestieri testing Reds goalkeeper Karl Darlow in the third minute with a 25-yard effort that was palmed away.

After a dominant period by the Hornets, it was Forest's turn to threaten, with David Vaughan's ultimately harmless free kick in the 19th minute needing the merest of touches by a teammate to give the visitors the lead.

The deadlock was broken by Watford when Odion Ighalo bundled the ball home from about six yards just before the half-hour mark.

However, Forest equalised within two minutes when Antonio weaved through the Hornets defence before poking home past Heurelho Gomes.

Just seven minutes after the restart, Kelvin Wilson brought down Matej Vydra in the visitors' box, prompting the referee to give the Hornets a penalty.

The Czech striker opted to take the spot kick himself and duly converted to put his side back into the lead.

Midway through the second half, the Reds were able to draw level for the second time in the game when Chris Burke's cross was headed in by Antonio at the back post.
