Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Blackburn Rovers could welcome back as many as five players for their Championship fixture with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Gary Bowyer's team were missing seven players for last week's FA Cup victory at Charlton Athletic, but Corry Evans, Alex Baptiste, Grant Hanley, Josh King and Markus Olsson are all back in contention.

The win at The Valley was just a second in seven games for Rovers, who have fallen five points below the playoff spots in the table.

Wolves travel to the North-West having put together a run of five games without defeat after previously winning just one point from a maximum 18 throughout November and the start of December.

However, Kenny Jackett's outfit are still finding goals hard to come by, with just six being scored in as many games since December 6.

The West Midlands club will be without Bakary Sako after he departed for the Africa Cup of Nations, but midfielder Kevin McDonald should return after a one-match ban.

Blackburn Rovers:

Form in Championship: DLLWLD
Form in all competitions: LLWLDW

Possible starting lineup: Eastwood, Henley, Duffy, Kilgallon, Taylor, Marshall, Cairney, Williamson, Dunn, Conway, Rhodes

Wolverhampton Wanderers:

Form in Championship: LLWDWW
Form in all competitions: LWDWWD

Possible starting lineup: Ikeme, Iorfa, Batth, Stearman, Hause, Price, McDonald, Van La Parra, Edwards, Henry, Dicko

Sports Mole says: 1-1
