Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly has little desire to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly indicated that he has little desire to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.

As a result of Eriksen having just a year remaining on his contract, Real have been heavily linked with an approach for the playmaker at a time when they are also contemplating an official bid for Paul Pogba.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has allegedly made contact with Real in a bid to agree terms for the playmaker, aware that the North London outfit are at risk of losing one of their star men on a free transfer.

However, according to AS, Zidane has already made it known that he does not want to add the Denmark international to his squad.

The report adds that Pogba remains his preference in that area of the pitch, despite Eriksen being available for significantly less than the World Cup winner.

Such a stance could hinder Mauricio Pochettino's plans in the transfer market, with a move for Real Betis man Giovani Lo Celso allegedly having to be shelved until a buyer is found for Eriksen.
