Team News: Divock Origi starts for Lille against Metz

Divock Origi starts in attack for Lille against Metz in the first game of his loan spell since completing his transfer to Liverpool.

Divock Origi has been handed a start in attack against Metz as he begins a season-long loan spell at Lille.

The Belgian begins the campaign by leading the line for Lille, just weeks after returning to the club on loan following his transfer to Liverpool.

Origi is expected to start as a central striker, with support likely to arrive from Ryan Mendes due to the omission of Salomon Kalou from the squad.

Metz manager Albert Cartier welcomes forward Juan Manuel Falcon into the team for the first time, but fellow summer signings Jonathan Rivierez and Jose Luis Palomino are forced to settle for places on the bench.

Lille: Enyeama; Corchia, Kjaer, Beria, Souare; Basa, Balmnont, Gueye, Mavuba, Mendes; Origi

Metz: Carrasso; Marchal, Metanire, Choplin, Bussmann; Rocchi, Sarr, Sido, Ngbakoto, N'Daw; Falcon
