Kylian Mbappe "100% wants to stay" at Paris Saint-Germain, according to the French side's president Nasser Al Khelaifi.

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi is confident that Kylian Mbappe will remain at the Parc des Princes for the long term.

The France international has still yet to commit to a new deal with the Ligue 1 giants, meaning that he will become a free agent next year as things stand.

An array of clubs have been tipped to move for Mbappe this summer should his situation not be resolved soon, with Real Madrid and Liverpool among those supposedly interested.

However, speaking after PSG were pipped to the Ligue 1 title by Lille on Sunday, Al Khelaifi insisted that he does not expect Mbappe to leave.

"For me, Kylian is a PSG player and will be a PSG player. I am not worried. Do not worry, let us work," he said.

"Mbappe is Parisian. He is French, he is Parisian, he is under contract and he wants to stay 100%."

Mbappe ended the 2020-21 Ligue 1 campaign with 27 goals in 31 appearances, seeing him finish as the division's top scorer ahead of Monaco's Wissam Ben Yedder (20 goals).
