Dean Smith has reportedly impressed Norwich City during a recent interview with the football club.

The Canaries are currently looking for a new manager after Daniel Farke was fired prior to the international break, despite the fact that they were able to defeat Brentford.

Smith has recently found himself without work as he was let go by Aston Villa after the club suffered five losses in a row.

According to Sky Sports, he spoke with Norwich about the vacant position and was able to impress with his knowledge of the squad, the playing style and the club in general.

However, he is not the only manager to have spoken with the Premier League outfit, as the Canaries having a three-man shortlist for the job.
