Sunday's La Liga predictions including Sevilla vs. Mallorca

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's La Liga action, including Sevilla vs. Mallorca.

Espanyol vs. Eibar (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Already-relegated Espanyol will be looking to end a run of six straight La Liga defeats when they welcome struggling Eibar to the RCDE Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Espanyol's 1-0 defeat at Barcelona on Wednesday night confirmed their relegation to the second tier, while Eibar currently sit 15th in the table, just four points clear of the relegation zone with three games left.

We say: Espanyol 1-1 Eibar

Eibar will be desperate to win as they bid to stay clear of the relegation zone, but the pressure is somewhat off Espanyol, and the home side have a lot of talented players despite their struggles. We fancy a low-scoring draw here, which would not be the worst result in the world for either side.

Levante vs. Athletic Bilbao (Sunday, 4.00pm)

Athletic Bilbao will be looking to keep their hopes of a top-six finish in La Liga alive when they travel to Levante on Sunday afternoon.

The Basque outfit are currently ninth in the table, five points off sixth-placed Getafe, while Levante occupy 12th spot, five points behind their opponents this weekend.

We say: Levante 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

This game has a draw written all over it; Athletic have shared the points in eight of their 17 away league matches this season, while Levante have only suffered four La Liga defeats on home soil. A draw is not what Athletic will be looking for as they bid to make the top six, but we are struggling to separate the two sides.

Leganes vs. Valencia (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Leganes will be looking to boost their hopes of avoiding relegation from La Liga when they welcome Valencia to Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Sunday night.

The home side are currently 19th in the table, six points from the safety of 17th position, while Valencia occupy eighth, three points off the top six with three games left.

We say: Leganes 1-2 Valencia

Valencia have certainly shown signs of improvement since Celades left the club, and there is no question that Los Che have a squad packed full of talent. Leganes are in desperate need of a win, but we fancy the visitors to pick up all three points at Estadio Municipal de Butarque.

Sevilla vs. Mallorca (Sunday, 9.00pm)

Sevilla will be looking to strengthen their grip on a top-four position in La Liga when they welcome relegation-threatened Mallorca to the Estadio Ramon on Sunday night.

The home side are currently fourth in the table, level on points with third-placed Atletico Madrid, while Mallorca occupy 18th, three points behind 17th-placed Alaves.

We say: Sevilla 2-0 Mallorca

Mallorca certainly have momentum at the moment, but it is incredibly difficult to back the visitors to win this match taking everything into consideration. Sevilla have been excellent since returning to action last month, and we fancy Lopetegui's side to put another three points on the board here.
