Preview: Barnsley vs. Burnley

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship fixture between Barnsley and Burnley at Oakwell.

Having seen Leicester City secure promotion to the Premier League at the weekend, second-placed Burnley will be looking to join the Foxes as soon as possible.

As it stands, with six matches left to play, the Clarets are 10 points clear of their nearest challengers Queens Park Rangers.

Next up for Sean Dyche's men is a trip to Oakwell tomorrow night to take on Barnsley, who are also desperate to put victories on the board.

Danny Wilson's charges currently occupy the final relegation place and are two points adrift of Charlton Athletic in 21st, having also played one game more than the South Londoners.

The hosts will be without Kelvin Etuhu for the visit of Burnley because of suspension, while Norwegian international striker Marcus Pedersen has been suffering with a hamstring complaint of late and could also miss out.

Meanwhile, visiting Burnley will have to continue without injured leading goalscorers Danny Ings and Sam Vokes, which is likely to see Scott Arfield and Ashley Barnes continue in attack.

In total, Burnley have won just nine of their 33 trips to Barnsley, with the home team having recorded 14 victories.
